We have highly-qualified software developers that will fit your company's requirements and budget. Our freelancer network consists of talented and deserving Americans who are looking for a fair shot at showing you what they can do on your company's projects.
Our freelancer network includes talented software developers, programmers, engineers and architects with experience and expertise across a wide array of today’s top programming languages, frameworks and technologies.

Every freelancer in our network is vetted through a process that includes methods to determine skill and proficiency, including portfolio reviews, technical coding challenges, skills assessments and live problem-solving sessions as appropriate to the freelancer. Our vetting process also includes screening for communication skills, personality, domain-specific knowledge and professionalism.
After reviewing your company's needs and the scope, budget and requirements for its project, we'll generate a short-list of freelancers in our network who are both qualified and available to take on the work.
We'll coordinate interviews with your selected candidates from the short-list. Once you have chosen the right freelancer for your project, your account manager will help you and the freelancer get started. We take care of all freelancer administration such as invoicing and payments to make the entire process simple and easy for your company.
Once you've selected a freelancer from the short-list, we may require an initial deposit of $500 from new clients that will be applied as a credit to your first invoice. If you decide not to move forward with the freelancer, your deposit will be refunded completely.
While we screen all applicants to ensure they possess the proper skills, capabilities and other characteristics, we understand that not every person will be a perfect fit for every company. If this should happen, we will work with you to promptly secure a satisfactory resolution.
We screen for communication skills, personality, domain-specific knowledge and professionalism. Our process also includes ways to determine skill and proficiency, including portfolio reviews, technical coding challenges, skills assessments and live problem-solving sessions as appropriate to the freelancer. We also review appropriate documentation to confirm that each freelancer does, in fact, physically live in an economically disadvantaged county in the U.S. that is a target area for us.
Our freelancers work remotely from their home office or a co-working space. Should your project require that the freelancer be physically on-site, we will work with you to find the right person who is open to this type of engagement.
Generally speaking, yes. If this is a consideration, then we will work with you to fully understand your company's specific requirements so that we can establish a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Your company will always own all the legal rights to the work created by the freelancer. Our contracts provide that all work created by a freelancer is the property of the client, not us or the freelancer. Through agreements with our freelancers, we obtain exclusive ownership of the work created by the freelancer that works with you. We then provide you with the intellectual property for the work that the freelancer creates for you under our client agreement. We believe that this arrangement works well for clients. However, if you would like the freelancer to enter into a direct proprietary agreement with you to effect the direct transfer of intellectual property, we will work with you to ensure that your needs are met. All of our freelancers are bound to non-disclosure agreements protecting the information of our clients.
Each freelancer sets his or her own rates and they vary across several factors. We will work with you to find the best freelancer at the right price point for your company's budget. Typically, rates for software developers in our freelancer network fall into the following general ranges:
Hourly: $20-$60+/hour
Part-time: $400-$1,200+/week
Full-time: $800-$2,400+/week
We typically invoice our clients twice a month (on or around the 1st and 15th). Invoices are generated with Net 10 terms, so clients have an opportunity to review the charges prior to processing.
We currently accept all major credit cards, ACH, bank wires, Stripe and PayPal.
If you're a talented software developer who lives in the specific counties in the U.S. where we are sourcing freelancers, then we invite you to apply to join our network. Whether you have a college degree or not, or whether you have a little experience or a lot, you should apply today to start the process.

Yes, we need a resume or summary that lists your academic, employment and freelancer history to get a good sense of your experience and capabilities. Don't worry about not having the "right" resume or if your education and employment histories are a little "thin" - if you're a highly-qualified software developer, we're more interested in your skills and capabilities than where you went to school or worked.
There are no fees or charges to join or be in our freelancer network.
While our primary focus is on freelancers who live in the poorest counties in the U.S., we are always interested in diverse freelancers who possess talent and deserve a fair shot. If you live outside our target areas, we encourage you to apply, especially if you are a woman and/or a minority.
Yes. Some projects don't require a full-time commitment and can be done after hours and on weekends. Also, if you want to transition from your full-time job to a full-time freelancer, joining our network can allow you to find your first project, before leaving your current job.
Once you receive a project assignment, you will be onboarded onto our time-tracking and payments platforms. You will submit detailed time sheets for your hours worked every week. We typically bill our clients on or around the 1st and 15th of each month. Once we've collected payment from the client, we'll send payment to you for the appropriate pay period. It generally takes 15-30 days after a pay period ends for freelancers to receive payment for their work.
While we will always endeavor to have enough projects available for every freelancer on our network, the amount of work available on our platform will fluctuate. Further, each client has the ultimate decision on which freelancer to select from the short-list that we present to them. If you are a good fit for a particular project, are available for it and your rate is in line with the client's budget, then your chances of being on a short-list and winning a project will be high.
You will always set the rate for your services for each project. You are free to adjust your desired rate for each project, based on its complexity, length and other factors, including the client's budget requirements. We do encourage freelancers in our network to be flexible on rates to help boost their chances of winning project assignments and renewals.
